Rebecca graduated from the University of Rochester in 2008 with a B.A. in Psychology and English. She first become involved in child welfare while working on a research project that studied the effects of witnessing domestic violence on child development. She also worked at an after-school program for at-risk youth, many of whom were living in foster care or were otherwise involved with social services. Rebecca is currently getting her Master's at Eliot-Pearson, concentrating on Clinical Developmental Psychology. In the future she plans to go on for a Clinical Ph.D and eventually participate in Doctors Without Borders.
