 CRT in Ukraine has received a donation of four computers and 5000 Ukrainian Hryvna to purchase Christmas gifts for children with impaired hearing living in one of the state-run institutions. We thank our generous donor, Mr. David Kirkwood. The gift is very much appreciated and will make a big difference!

Please help us raise funds to buy special bottles that will allow children in orphanages who have cleft palates to grow strong as they await their surgeries!

A sanitary napkin is something so simple that most of us take for granted, but these girls live the reality of not having this convenience every month. One for you, one for her is an effort to collect sanitary napkins for girls in orphanages that do not have the resources to provide this basic necessity. 

My reunion with the kids I had worked with during my two years with Peace Corps was incredible. I was not quite sure how many of the 25 children I worked with would still be around, or how they would react to me a year and a half after I had essentially disappeared from their lives. Read more

In the beginning of June I went to a seminar to orphanage K. for children with severe special needs in one of the Southern regions of Ukraine. After the seminar I stayed for a week as a volunteer to help to work with the kids. During this time I was unexpectedly offered to go to the seaside for 21 day with a small group of children from this orphanage. I agreed and had an unforgettable experience – this trip has brought me a lot of joy but also was a real challenge. Read more...
